This poster was produced in 1928 by “the Underground”, the popular name for the Underground Electric Railway Company Ltd. In addition to the Metropolitan and District Railway, UERL owned the three deep level tube lines, known today as the Bakerloo, Picadilly, and Northern lines. These lines constitute much of the core holdings of today’s London Underground.
